NH 47 from Salen- Kanykumari longing 512 km has been renamed by GoI as NH 544 and is now from Salem to Edappally, Eklm. From Edapally to Kanyakumari (300 km now) it is now known as NH 66. NH 17 from Edapally to Mangalore is also renamed as NH 66, so NH66 is now from Mangalore to Kanyakumari
